RADEGAST demos 86/89 LP (APAGAJUV HLASATEL)

Asi není náhoda, že první československá hardcore kapela vznikla právě v Havířově. Nejmladší město republiky vybudované v regionu pyšnícím se především tvrdou prací bylo vlastně taky takovým socialistickým hardcore. Z kraje osmdesátých let byla zdejší životní úroveň poznamenána vším, co pobyt v hornickém kraji obnášel. Právě tehdy vznikla kapela, která následně ovlivnila mnoho dalších. A pojmenovala se podle oblíbené značky piva – Radegast.
Ovlivněn americkou hardcore školou hrál Radegast už od začátku hlavně rychle, krátce a nahlas. Jen občas se délka jejich skladeb přehoupne výrazně nad minutu. Rannou fázi kapely zachycuje první demo z roku 1986, ještě se zpěvačkou Danou Kalousovou. Druhé demo natočené v roce 1989 je pak ostré jako břitva, a představuje kapelu ve vrcholné formě. Většina textů uvrhává posluchače až někam za hranici beznaděje. Díky tomu je i dnes z nahrávek cítit nefalšovaný duch doby. Doby, v níž musela mládí trávit jedna otrávená havířovská generace. O tom, jaké to z pohledu skupiny skutečně bylo, si můžete přečíst v obsáhlém pojednání od Milana Jonšty uvnitř desky. Na všem zmíněném je navíc krásně vidět, že Radegast byl vlastně stejný, jako kraj, ze kterého pochází – s ničím se nemazlil!
Obě kompletní dema nyní vychází vůbec poprvé na vinylu a za notné spolupráce kapely. Tak si užijte autentický československý hardcore!
